Completed in 1937, Rogano's oyster bar was designed by Weddell and Inglis.

Adapted to a restaurant 50 years later by Weddell and Thomson, the exterior features a host of Art Deco features such as the stylish 1930's black and cream decor with chrome finishes.

In the bar area the veneered furniture continues the Art Deco theme in the 1930's style.

Numerous nautical details echo Rogano's origins as an oyster bar with mermaids, octopus and shell fish decorating the stained glass and etched mirrors.

Within the restaurant the elegant wood panelling is also decorated in nautical themes."
