21st century are changing in terms of politics, culture, living
spaces and public spaces, finance, entertainment and spectacle.

Homes for the Future offers teachers a wide range of issues
and perspectives on how we ‘see’ houses, how we understand
their function and the different uses to which our houses are put.
Activities are provided to accompany the source material.

Modern Masters traces the work of three masters of the
modern movement in architecture: Alvar Alto, Mies van der Rohe and
Frank Lloyd Wright. This material also includes activities developed
around their work.

This resource provides teachers and students with a substantial
body of information and ideas for teaching activities built around
aspects of Thomson’s work. Issues covered include sustainable
development, conservation, pattern and measurement, and investigative
studies.
